- Boyette was last seen on foot, in a wooded area near his residence. He was behaving oddly before he disappeared and deputies had been called a week prior based on a possible suicide attempt. The day he disappeared, he fled into the woods along Rainbow Lake Road after telling his family he was returning to "where it all started". The woods have been searched to no avail. He has lived in New Mexico, California, and Texas.
