- Notes
- Her mother last saw her at their home in Northport on April 26. At the time, she was an exotic dancer though her family was unaware of her career. This occasionally took her out of town and the rest of the time was divided between her mother’s home and her aunt’s, along Alabama Highway 69 South. On the day she disappeared, she left home to get food with a friend. The following afternoon, at 5:30pm (17:30), her cell phone records showed her at the Rosedale Apartments in Rosedale Court and someone made a call from that phone shortly before a large tornado hit the area. That tornado left 600 missing initially, of which four remain unlocated. Later, her little sister though she saw Latoya at a nightclub (The Playhouse) in Tuscaloosa, but this has not been confirmed. Her hair was naturally brown but may have been dyed blonde.
