- Mr Burney was last seen at Jet Pep in Battleground as he headed down Highway 157 to visit his two daughters. His newly purchased red 1987 Toyota Tercel was later located out of gas and having no battery in the Bankhead Forest off county road B15 in Winston County. There were no signs of a struggle but he has not been seen since.
