- Last seen Ozark, Alabama. Family states that, he was alive at the time of the Deep Water Horizon oil spill (April 2010) but hasn't been seen since, possibly the summer of 2010. In 2016, a witness said that Franklin had died while the family including the witness, Franklin's daughter, and Franklin's son-in-law. The son-in-law forced his wife and the witness to bury Franklin along the side of the road. They then hid the death for six years in order to collect Franklin's Social Security and Pension. They believe he was buried along the Alabama-Florida state line, near the road.
