- Hunters discovered the body and it is possible he was hunting in the area (he had a .22 revolver with spent cartridges). Nearby was a woman's driver's license which led police to a woman who's common-law husband had taken her identification. He had not been seen since October 2004; it is not clear if they believe this to be him or if DNA could rule him out. The victim was between 33 to 43 years old.
