- No one has seen or heard from Becky Ferguson since Sept. 16, 1988. A relative expected Ferguson to come for a visit in Birmingham that day, but she never arrived. She was in the middle of a divorce at the time and in disappearing left behind her two children. A new Cadillac belonging to the 32-year-old mother of two was later found on the shoulder of Alabama 257 near the Jasper community of Curry two days after she was expected to be in Birmingham. There were two shotgun blasts embedded in the vehicle but no evidence of an injury. Her jewelry was found both in the car and on the floor of her garage.
