- Notes
- Donald Ray Fortson was last seen on Tuesday, November 3, 1998 in the Cleveland area of Blount County Alabama. There is a $50,000 reward offered by the family for information leading to an arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the disappearance of Donald Fortson and Eddie Hazelrig. Donald and his nephew Eddie lived and often worked together. On the day they disappeared, they returned home from a job at approximately 3:30pm (15:30). Eddie made a long distance call to an unknown person and then the two men went to look at a car of Eddies. They were last seen leaving the tire store and appear to have not returned home. Eddie's truck was later found on fire, nearly destroyed. The men had not been in the vehicle, but the evidence was obliterated.
