- Notes
- On the night she disappeared, Andrea was burned by her step-mother in the bathtub. The step-mother said she treated the burns and then put her down to sleep. The step-mother and father later discovered she was dead. According to the step-mother, she wrapped Andrea in a plastic trash bag which was then tied to a concrete block with an electrical cord. Andrea’s father then supposedly threw her remains off of the Mon Dye Bridge into Upper Bear Creek Lake. A search of the area later uncovered trash bags and a concrete block but her remains were not found. Andrea exhibited signs of sexual, emotional, and physical abuse for several years while under the care of her biological mother who was later imprisoned. She went through a series of foster homes before being placed in her father's custody. She was reported missing on Nobember 20.
