- Stefan was hiking in the mountainous region of Gesäuse and headed towards the Tamischbach Tower when he vanished. He parked his car at Waidhofen an der Ybbs train station, and then took the train to Kleinreifling. He changed transit there and headed towards Kirchenlandl. There has been no sign of him since.
