- John attended a wedding in Montevallo on May 6, but was never seen again. He failed to appear for an appointment with the Social Security Administration on May 11 and was reported missing on May 14. His vehicle was found on May 14th at the Slab, a place in the Pea Ridge area near Shelby County Road 10. The car was unlocked, the windows down, and John's cigarettes remained inside. It is not clear where he was from originally.
