- Notes
- Nancy was last heard from while she was driving to her workplace where she served as a cook at Children's Hospital. Her roommate saw her at their home while leaving for her own shift at approximately 3:45a.m. Lewis failed to arrive at work and when her coworkers called she answered and told them that she had run into car trouble. She said she had called one of her brothers to come and pick her up. Her brother said that he answered her call and that she claimed to have had a flat tire. He arrived at the place where she said to meet him but she was not there. He said her tires were new and should not have had a flat, suggesting there may have been some kind of other issue. Her vehicle was later found on May 22 abandoned at a Bankhead Highway gas station in Midfield. Witnesses lated said they saw an unidentified man driving her truck. A woman, Penny L Clark, is a person of interest since her fingerprints were found on the truck.
