- August 19, 1977
- Notes
- Lirette was supposed to be driving an Otis Engineering work truck home to New Orleans Lousiana. He left the Silver Dollar Lounge at the Ramada Inn in Brewton at approximately 12:30am on August 19th. He never arrived in Louisiana and the vehicle was found wrecked with a different person (unidentified) in the truck. It is not clear if they were in the passenger or driver seat (e.g., did it seem like Lirette had been driving and then left the accident or was the person in the vehicle taking it for a ride). The vehicle was found in Emory Texas, no where close to or enroute to the Louisiana destination from Alabama.
