- Although Maull was originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, she was in Birmingham to finalize her divorce. She called and spoke to her attorney at 9:00am that morning and was planning to head for court to have a hearing for the divorce. She did not arrive and her vehicle was found abandoned near the Captain D's parking lot. She left behind her daughter and the circumstances are deemed suspicious.
