Notes
That evening at approximately 7:00pm (19:00), Marion and her boyfriend Jimmy Wilson (19) got into his car and set off on a date. They headed for central Scarborough and were on a smaller, isolated road when they were car jacked by an unknown person at around 8:00pm (20:00). The suspect grabbed open the passenger door and told them “This is a stick-up.” Jimmy gave him his wallet with $10.00 when he was suddenly truck in the back of his head twice with the butt of the suspect’s handgun. The wound would need 17 stitches later and he passed out. As Jimmy drifted in and out of consciousness he recalls laying the back of the car with Marion laying on top of him. Then he recalls the vehicle parked in a parking lot with another car shortly in front of them. An unknown person closed the trunk of the car in front before leaving in the vehicle. Marion was no longer with him. Alone in the car, Jimmy was finally able to get to the front seat and drive to the police station. Police were able to find the parking lot and uncovered Jimmy’s wallet and a bar of laundry soap from the brand “Sunlight”. Someone had broken into the parking lot, snapping the locks and cutting the chains. All the security had been put on the lot that same day. In Jimmy’s car, police found Marion’s head scarf which had marks that made it appear she may have been struck in the head too. There were two blood types in the vehicle (type A and type O). Jimmy was cleared of suspicion and described the suspect at 5’8” with a narrow face, wearing a balaclava mask 9dark) and holding a gun (possibly a Walther .38 or a Luger).
