Notes
Jay Quan and his mother Lynda disappeared from a strip mall around 12:30pm in the company of John Franklin Mosely, Jr. Mosley (African-America, brown eyes, avg. build, bald) was later convicted of murdering the two potentially over child support payments. Lynda's car was abandoned at the mall; it appears Mosley used his own vehicle. Two weeks later, another man (Bernard Griffin) confessed to helping Mosely dump Lynda's body and led police to her burnt remains 55 mi away in a wooded area near a hunting club; Jay Quan was never recovered. Griffen said he abandoned Jay Quan's body in a dumpster near Ocala, FL but nothing was every found. Mosley insisted he was innocent.
