- Sara was staying with her mother at the Crisis Intervention Center for Children and Young People in Need (KIZ) in Innisbruck when she disappeared. She had a backpack containing her passport, 500 EU in cash, and a Koran. She told the supervisor that she was planning to go on a picnic. She did not return, and her disappearance is believed to be linked to prior Islamization. She had started wearing a headscarf and later a niqab. She had previously said she had met and married an unknown 24y/o Muslim man according to Islamic law. No one met the man and they are not sure how they met, though possibly through chats; police believe he may be in Germany (possibly in Cologne or Munich). An acquaintance reportedly told police they had seen Sara with a large suitcase at a bus stop (date unknown) which they now believe contained all of her clothes. Neither she nor the suitcase have been recovered. She is lim, about 160cm tall, with long, auburn (red-brown) hair. She has brown eyes but sometimes work blue contact lenses.
