- Jeffrey and his wife Kristi were last seen at their home in Phenix City, Alabama sometime in July 2014 when police were called to the home. Both were involved in criminal activities and Jeffrey had warrants out for his arrest when they disappeared. They were not close to their families and Kristi's did not live in state so their disappearance went unnoticed initially. Then a year later, in September 2015, Jeffrey's partial skeletal remains were found in a wooded area about 20 miles away close to Salem, Alabama. He had been shot though whether in a homicide or suicide, police have not yet said. He appeared to have been there for some time and it is possible he was killed not long after they were last seen in July 2014. He was not identified until 2017 which made the situation compelx. Kristi has never been seen since. Both cases remain unsolved.
