Helen Stacey was last seen leaving a facility in Gladesville, NSW. She then vanished under unknown circumstances and was a potential suicide risk. On August 15, she was referred to a mental health facility for depression. She had recently broken up with a young man and was upset with the end of their relationship and some new struggles with schoolwork. She had been checked into Broughton Hall for treatment, but left voluntarily without authorization on the night of August 18.
