- Notes
- James Toole spent the afternoon waiting at home for his youngest granddaughter to arrive on the school bus. Her sister came to pick her up and he warned them that he would not be there the following day when the school bus arrived. He told them he was going to visit central Florida to see some of his family. That evening he left to work at a convenience store nearby but he left a few hours early. He then visited his granddaughter's home to speak with his wife. His granddaughters and their mother saw him again driving north along Houston County Road 75. Neither he nor the vehicle have been recovered
