- Brenda was living with Carl A. Williams, a man who she may have been married to and may have had a child with. Brenda had been visiting Fayetteville, North Carolina but after meeting Williams they had moved to Heflin, Alabama. In 2002, prior to committing suicide, Williams admitted to witnesses that he had killed Brenda after an argument. She has not been seen since the summer of 1988.
