- Karen was last seen heading towards the slot machines at about 11:00pm (23:00) in West Virginia's "Mountaineer Casino Racetrack and Resort". She was then seen on CCTV heading towards her vehicle between 3:00 - 4:00am the following morning. She then used her passcode to access her cell phone's voicemail. This was the last sighting of her and her vehicle, neither have been recovered. Her normal route would take her 30 miles to Independence Township near Pittsburg where she lived with family.
