Against the backdrop of the legendary “Dead Zone” in Warehouse 11, Wu Xie sets out on a dangerous journey to uncover the truth about his missing Third Uncle and the strange phenomenon known as listening to thunder. Determined to follow in his uncle’s footsteps, he enters the submerged entrance to the Dead Zone with Bai Haotian, where they face hidden traps, electric defenses, and unsettling insect-like hallucinations. Along the way, they encounter abandoned railcars marked “076,” bell traps that trigger danger, eerie sound illusions, and fleeting visions of people long thought lost. These visions, however, are as deceptive as they are dangerous.

Joined by allies including Wang Pangzi, Zhang Qiling, Hei Yanjing, and Liu Sang, Wu Xie begins to piece together clues suggesting that a place called Thunder City holds the key to his uncle’s fate, as well as the secret behind the listening thunder ritual.

Their journey takes them deeper underground through winding corridors, toxic mist-filled forests, and into the legendary Thunder City. There, a hidden mechanism and a mysterious bronze lotus device appear to control sound and possibly even life itself. As the group’s loyalty, courage, and technical skills are tested, tensions rise and betrayals surface, including one from within their own ranks. At the same time, a shadowy conspiracy tied to the warehouse’s past threatens to unleash disaster.

With time running out and Wu Xie’s health steadily worsening, the group races to decode ancient recordings and activate the listening apparatus before toxic gas and unseen enemies close in. Their path leads them ever closer to the heart of the mystery and to a revelation that will change everything.
