Date the Body was Recovered: August 6, 1991

Description: On August 6, 1991, at approximately 7 PM, the body of an unidentified woman was discovered in a rainwater well on the grounds of a cottage or chalet located on the Attenhovendreef, a rural forest road near Leuvensebaan in Holsbeek, Belgium. The woman was estimated to be between 30 and 55 years old. Her dental condition was notably poor, with multiple fillings present in her lower jaw. It is believed that her body had been in the well for up to two years before being found. Despite investigations, no identification was found with the remains, and the woman’s identity remains unknown to this day.

Holsbeek is a town in the Belgian province of Flemish Brabant. The town is connected to the city of Leuven via the Leuvensebaan, and it is about 30 minutes’ drive from Brussels.

No official cause of death has been publicly released, and the precise time of death remains undetermined due to the condition of the remains and the time elapsed before discovery.
