Description: A young man identified as Rida Zoudri disappeared while traveling in Austria after telling his family he planned to spend his birthday visiting Berlin and Austria, according to confirmed family statements and witness reports. Zoudri initially asked his mother to accompany him on the trip, but she was unable to travel due to childcare responsibilities. Despite this, the two remained in frequent contact and video-called one another every few hours during the trip.

According to his mother, Zoudri contacted her earlier in the day and appeared to be in good condition. Approximately three hours later, at around 7:00 p.m. (19:00), he called again in a state of panic. During that call, he reportedly told her that he was lost, that his fingers were numb, and that he was experiencing chest pain and feeling faint. He begged her for help. This call marked the last confirmed contact with Zoudri.

Witnesses later reported seeing Zoudri at approximately 10:30 a.m. walking uphill from Café Testa Rossa in the Innsbruck area. He was subsequently last seen near the Höttinger Alm. Investigators confirmed that he may have entered one of three hiking routes in the area: Trail 215, Trail 505/506, or Trail 06/216. There is no evidence that he used a gondola, and witnesses indicated that he did not appear to be following a marked trail, instead walking across open meadow terrain.

Authorities confirmed that Zoudri’s mobile phone signal was last detected in the Sill Gorge area. A search of his hotel room later revealed that his laptop, passport, and clothing were still inside, indicating that he had not formally checked out or prepared for extended travel. No further confirmed sightings or communications have been reported since.

Search efforts have focused on the mountainous terrain surrounding the Höttinger Alm and the Sill Gorge, where conditions can be challenging and rapidly changing. The investigation remains ongoing.
