In a story set in Wu Xie’s old residence Wu Shan Ju, Huo Youxin arrives to confront manager Bai She after her subordinate dies mysteriously. In a twist, Huo Youxin devises a plan that causes Bai She to become infected with the same bizarre illness that killed her employee. Unexpectedly, both Huo Youxin and Bai She fall victim to the strange affliction, which causes abnormal physical symptoms. Desperate for answers and a cure, they seek help from Wu Xie, who guides them to a mysterious cave, where the two investigate the origins and secrets of the strange illness that has threatened their lives
