Date of the Disappearance*: June 7, 1992
On June 7, 1992, high school graduates Suzanne Streeter (19) and Stacy McCall (18) attended graduation parties around Springfield, Missouri. Originally planning to spend the night at a hotel, the girls ultimately decided to stay at Streeter’s home, which she shared with her mother, Sherrill Levitt (47). By the following morning, all three women had vanished without a trace from the Levitt residence.
Friends who came by the house that day reported strange details: all three women’s purses, keys, and cars were at the house, as were the women’s personal belongings. The glass light cover on the porch was shattered, and a friend even cleaned it up, not realizing it might be evidence. The family dog, Cinnamon, was still there, seemingly distressed. Despite these oddities, there were no clear signs of a struggle inside the home. Over time, police efforts to find them included excavations and hundreds of interviews, but no solid leads ever panned out.
Numerous theories have been proposed—from abduction to murder to being victims of a serial killer—but to this day, there has been no definitive evidence to explain what happened.

Rumored or Actual Sightings: A server reported having seen the three women (Sherrill, Stacy, and Suzanne) at George’s Steakhouse (339 S Glenstone Ave) sometime between 2:20am – 3:00am. This would put them a couple of minutes away from Levitt’s home. Suzie was reportedly under the influence. This Has NOT Been Substantiated By The Police.
A tipster also reportedly saw a green van driven by a woman matching Suzie’s description at 6:30am – 7:00am. The tipster also reported overhearing a male voice speaking threateningly to the driver. This Has NOT Been Substantiated By The Police.
