Crime & Mystery Movies

Poster with the outline of a man and woman back to back holding guns. Text: A global list: Movie Mysteries

A comprehensive list of crime and mystery movies from around the world.

  • Have you seen all of these?
  • Which are on your ‘to watch’ list?
  • Which are the best?
  • The worst?
  • Any we should add?

This list is frequently updated whenever we have time or watch new films. If you have any recommendations (from any country) please share in the comments! We try to limit these to films where some form of crime is being enacted and the film primarily focuses on solving the case or stopping the criminals. Most movies anymore utilize the mystery theme to some extent, but not all are true, genuine “Mystery” films. This list is for those real mysteries – be they keeping you on the edge of your seat or snuggled up with that best friend and popcorn. So bring on your recommendations and let’s see what makes the list!

If you liked this, don’t forget to check out our list of Movie Mysteries, TV Mysteries, Mystery Blogs, Mystery Novels, Mystery Games, True Crime Novels, True Crime Blogs, and True Crime Podcasts as well and share this list with others!
