Kenji left home at approximately 7:20pm (19:20) and walked away. He never returned and has not been seen since that time. He was a third year student at his local junior high school when he disappeared. He enjoyed music and could play the clarinet and another wind instrument; he is described as speaking and gesturing quite gracefully.
It is unclear if they believe he was a potential runaway or if there is the possibility of foul play.
