- Ana disappeared under unknown circumstances in 2018. According to media reports, Ana was last seen on her birthday in 2018. Her mother, Mrs. Sonia Echenique, had visited the home that Ana shared with her partner in Toledo Chico in order to celebrate Ana’s birthday. When she left, Ana walked with her to the bus stop but this was the last time she had been seen or heard from since. Possible human trafficking links have been suggested
